TVBEUROPE
The two most popular articles on TVBEurope.com in April are about Ateliere. Our story about Dan Goman (originally a tip-off from one of our readers) has had over 2,000 views. The article on the company’s decision to axe its planned acquisition of CodeMill has had almost 1.3K views. This again shows that TVBEurope.com is a trusted source of breaking industry news, providing our readers with exclusive stories.
Elsewhere, as expected, our Best of Show at NAB winners announcement had had over 1,000 views. And our exclusive article with an analyst on how the new Trump tariffs could impact the industry has had 690 views.

Analysis:
The top 4 stories in April garnered 13,723, ~60% increase over the top 4 March stories (8,628). However, only one of the top 4 was related to the NAB Show so it’s encouraging to see our traffic not so reliant on NAB. That said, apart from the BOS announcement, the others don’t represent much of a trend. I anticipate that at least one story per month will be Trump/FCC related simply because there’s so much news. The LiDar story is drone related; A Google search resulted in 10 stories related to that, half of them the press release. The only other brand in the M&E sector that covered it was Newsshooter. The DirecTV story represents how our coverage bleeds over to the consumer side.
Other trends impacting broadcasters:
The rest of the top stories were dominated by the FCC/Trump, with a few from the NAB Show. We don’t report on drone news all that much but when we do, it gets a lot of traction. The only other drone story we did in April was one on Sinclair getting FAA permission to fly drones over people and that got a lot of traffic as well as well (#10).
RADIO WORLD
The top stories for RW in the past month have been about shortwave radio, ham radio, FCC rules and the federal government’s efforts to close VOA and other U.S. international broadcast operations.
